Mahachandanadi Oil is a medicated oil described in the Ayurvedic classical textbook Bhaishajyaratnavali. This medicated oil is a combination of several herbs like Chandana (Santalum album), Guloochi (Tinospora cordifolia),Usheera (Vetiveria zizanioides) and Aswagandha (Withania somnifera) etc. infused into a grounding base of sesame oil. Mahachandanadi oil helps to reduce burning sensation of the body and reduced sleep.

CHANDANA (Santalum album)

Chandana have many properties like anti-allergic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, blood purifier, analgesic, antipyretic, etc. It has a cooling effect too.

USHIRA (Vetiveria zizanioides)

The plant possesses properties like anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, calming, sedative, tonic, healing effects etc.

MADHUKA (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

This plant has lot of medicinal properties like anti-microbial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitussive, antiviral, antiulcer, hepatoprotective, antiallergic etc.

BALA (Sida cordifolia)

MANJISHTA (Rubia Cordifolia)

Plant has many pharmacological actions like blood purifier, anti-acne, anti-dysentric, astringent, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective activity etc.

SHATHAVARI (Asparagus racemosus)

Pharmacological activities include galactagogue effect, antisecretory, antiulcer, antitussive, adaptogenic, antibacterial, hepatoprotective and cardiovascular activities.

ASWAGANDHA (Withania somnifera)

The pharmacological activities of Aswagandha include antimicrobial, anticancer, immunomodulatory, neuroprotective, stress-relieving activities.

GULUCHI (Tinospora cordifolia)

The plant show activities like antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-toxic, anti-diabetic, immunomodulatory, hepatoprotective activities.
