Kanasathahwadi Kashayam is a potent combination of drugs having hot and penetrating qualities. Dosage and Instructions

Adult: 15-20 ml of Kanasathahwadi Kashayam mixed with 45-60 ml of boiled and cooled water, twice daily on empty stomach.

Child: 10-15 ml of Kanasathahwadi Kashayam mixed with 30-45 ml of boiled and cooled water, twice daily on empty stomach.

PIPPALI (Piper longum)

Pippali is known as “Tridoshic” herb as it suits all body types. Thus regular consumption of pippali in suggested quantity can help you to immune your body to quiet an extent. Pippali has Anti-microbial, Anti-inflammatory activity. Consumption of pippali is said to exhibit anti spasmodic action and hypoglycaemic effect which is believed to lower blood sugar level. It is also reported to be antagonist in respiratory depression. Also due to its cooling post-digestive effect consumption of pippali is considered as a safe and effective option to avoid all sorts of digestive disorders.

AJAMODA (Apium leptophyllum)

Ajamoda is an important drug of Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani systems of medicine, which consists of umbelliferous fruits. The drug to be used in the formulations are fruits of Apium leptophyllum. According to Ayurveda, Ajamoda Arka is useful in Agnimandya (Loss of appetite), Ajirna (Indigestion), Bastiroga (Urinary bladder disorder), Vata-Kapha-roga (Diseases due to Vata & Kapha disorders), and Aruchi (Anorexia).

DEVADARU (Cedrus deodara)

Himalayan Cedar is very effective in neurological disorders, asthma, pruritus, infested wound. Devadaru is also effective in arthritis and headache. Deodar oil contains two major sesquiterpenoids a – and ß- himachalenes. Deodardione are also isolated from the essential oil. The oil shows invitro antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activity.

BHARANGI (Clerodendron Serratum)

Bharangi is a one of the common herbs used in the treatment of common cold, chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, cough and other chronic respiratory problems. It is also an excellent dry cough home remedy. It is also used by Ayurveda for relief from fever and hyper-pyrexia.

KULATHA (Macrotyloma uniflorum)

Commonly called horse gram, Horse gram powder does wonder in treating various health issues such as asthma, bronchitis, urinary problems, jaundice, peptic ulcer, hemorrhoids, and even menstrual problems. It is also beneficial for extracting phlegm and controlling fever.
