Description
Kaishora guggulu is mostly used to treat gout and also skin infections. Giloy and Guggulu are the main components of Kaishora Guggulu. The patient’s age, gender, and medical history all play a role in determining the proper dosage of Kaishora Guggulu.

Adult: 2 tablets twice daily after food or as directed by the physician.

Guggulu – Another name for guggulu is “Pura,” which means “repels sickness.” It serves as a source for “Gum Guggulu” sold commercially. Oleo-gum-resin is the primary bioactive component of guggul (a mixture of an oil and yellowish or brownish fluid secreted from the plant stem or bark). Guggulu works best in conditions of anti-inflammatory diseases. It also works best in conditions of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and arthritis. It has also been used to promote weight loss, treat hypothyroidism, and manage cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Gokshura – Gokshura’s Mutrala (diuretic) and Sheeta (cooling) qualities can treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or an enlarged prostate gland. This aids in boosting urine production and decreasing urination-related edema and burning during micturition.

Vidanga – Vidanga is a useful herb to manage worm infestation that includes threadworms, roundworm and types of worms due to its Krimighna property.
