Varanadi Kashayam tablet is an adaptation of the ‘Varanadi Gana’ consisting of a group of drugs which balance the Kapha and Vata elements in the body. Together the drugs clear obstructed channels and facilitates unobstructed movement of Vata and body fluids. Widely used in managing headaches with gasrtic origin and diseases arising from over nourishment or ‘Medovruddhi’ .
‘Kashaya’ or herbal decoctions harness the healing properties of herbs and roots in a mild and easily absorbable water base. The tablet modification of Varanadi Kashayam uses allows easy transportation and administration, without compromising on its therapeutic benefits.
Dosage & Directions for Use
Adult: 2-3 Tablets of Varanadi Kashayam twice daily on empty stomach. Consume dissolved in half a glass of lukewarm water for best results.
Child: 1-2 Tablets of Varanadi Kashayam twice daily on empty stomach. Consume dissolved in half a glass of lukewarm water for best results.
Suitable for all ages. Should be used strictly under Physician’s guidance as it contains Bhallathaka, a Schedule E drug.

VARUNA (Crataeva nurvala)
It is also known as Three-leaved caper. The bark and leaves of the tree are mainly used for medicinal purposes. Varuna bark is recommended for blood purification, urinary-bladder problems, erysipelas, lymphadenopathy, BPH (Enlarged Prostate), and calculi.
SATAVARI (Aspsragus Recemosus)
The Sanskrit word means a plant with hundred roots. Mainly used for a long time as the hormone balance and a general tonic to uplift female health and libido. Also manages diabetes mellitus, prevents high cholesterol level and helps in the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections, edema, infertility depression, and cancer.
DAHANA (Plumbago Zylanica)
The whole of the plant is used for medicinal purposes. The word Dahana means that burns or digests. This medicinal herb is used mainly in indigestion cases along with carminative, antiaging properties. The root powder is mixed with buttermilk and took internally for hemorrhoids.
MURVA (Chonemorpha Fragrans)
Mainly used in diseases like anemia, fever, diabetes, stomach disorders, typhoid, urinary infections, and cough. It is also used in the treatment of diarrhea, polyuria, boils, leprosy, eye diseases, vomiting, and poisoning.
VILWA (Aegle marmelos)
It can be found as the favorite of Lord Shiva and thus found in the temples. Also known as Bilwa, the whole part of the plant is used for medicinal purposes. Antidiarrhoeal, antimicrobial, antiviral, radioprotective, anticancer, chemopreventive, antipyretic, ulcer healing, antigenotoxic, diuretic, antifertility, and anti-inflammatory properties.
BRIHATI (Solanum indicum)
One among the Dashamoolas, it is used in the treatment of respiratory ailments, dropsy, heart diseases, chronic fever, colic, scorpion stings, difficulty in urination, and worm infestation. A root decoction is administered in respiratory disorders like asthma, cough, etc. Brihati is a benefit providing herb in conditions of digestive troubles and has effective results in appetite, indigestion, dysentery, gas, and intestinal worms. This herb stimulates and strengthens the heart and is useful in cardiac disorders and improves the condition of edema.
SAIRYAKAYUGMA (Barleria Strigosa)
It is known as porcupine flowers. The flower of the plant is used for medicinal purposes. Mainly used in catarrhal infections, boils, snake bite. The antioxidantal property of the extract is also proved.
KARANJA (Pongamia pinnata)
Commonly known as Pongamia oil tree, it is widely used in managing constipation as it helps to improve gut motility and has a laxative property. Use Karanja oil in small quantity if you have acidity and other gastric problems since it is hot in potency.
AGNIMANTHA (Premna integrifloria)
Agnimantha is used in the treatment of all types of Vata Disorders (diseases related to the nervous and musculoskeletal system), inflammatory disorders, neuralgia, rheumatoid arthritis, anemia, piles, constipation, common cold, and loss of appetite. The extracts of the plant are used to treat diabetes. Urinary tract infections are also treated using Agnimantha extracts. Besides, its decoction is used to enhance strength & immunity following fever treatment.
HARITAKI (Terminalia chebula)
Commonly known as Indian walnut tree, it is one among the Triphala. The important drug in the various ayurvedic preparations. It holds high significance for treating diarrhea, dysentery, vision problems, obesity, gingivitis, gout, asthma. Haritaki is rich in Vitamin C and substances found to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
DARBHA (Desmostachya bipinnata)
Commonly known as Halfa grass, it is widely used in religious customs. It is used in skin diseases, diarrhea, renal calculi, dysmenorrhea, improving breast milk during lactation. It is used in the treatment of nose bleeds, haematuria, haematemesis, edema, and jaundice and also used in diarrhea and dysentery.
